Well, people keep calling me ‘Caveman Karl’ - it was not my choice, but as I am often talking about “caveman would have done this, or eaten that” I guess the name is obvious.
It was my son’s birthday today and I took this pic while we were out…it seemed appropriate!

"I want my children to grow up to live in a world where obesity is a trend in decline. I want to see heart disease and cancer incidence rates falling. I want to see smoking become a forgotten habit from a bygone age. I want people to learn about food, real food, what it is and where is comes from. I want people to understand the difference between local, fresh whole foods, and the factory-made, artificially-flavoured, nutritional garbage that the industrial food producers fill our supermarkets with.
I want people to understand that Mother Nature evolved everything to live and work in beautiful harmony, that we can live together on this planet in ways that are in balance with nature. We can treat animals with respect, but still breed them for food. I want my children to grow up with a deep understanding and appreciation of nature and the incredible, complex, glorious, beauty of the natural world.
Maybe I am just a dreamer, but I believe my dream is one worthy of pursuing."
